Field good

It's a new challenge a {PIN}spirational Challenges this week. This is the week's {PIN}spirational picture.

Adventurous and fun, right?

This is my card/project following that theme.

I have found the different images in my old Elementarz/cwiczenia books. Once I had started cutting in my cwiczenia books, I continued cause it felt like a freedom to destroy the books which were a reminder of the fact that I hadn't developed Polish skills further than ... this.

(Yes, that's me.) More than 20 years ago, and I can't say my Polish pronunciations have improved. Hehe.

Here's my card template

Abraca-dazzle

It's time for {PIN}spirational Challenge #80. The {PIN}spirational picture for this week is this one. Spooky huh?

Here's a card of mine following that theme. I meant to post it earlier this week since it was my time as a DT member of team 1, but I screwed up. I just wanted so much to happen with this card. For example I created a zombie frame, which I later ditched. I added lots of elements and later removed several elements. Then I figured that "hey, it's enough like this". I need to learn that less is more. Really. Anyhow, after much ado here it is. xD Less is more. Yeah...

Take it or leaf it

It's another challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters by now. The theme is fall/Halloween. It's my last round as a step sister. I created this card some weeks ago, when I was more in the mood of fall. Now I can't wait for the Winter instead. :)

The digital stamp/sketch can be found here (look below).

I found the leaf of wood at Börjes in Tingsryd. I created the background with metallic sand paint (silver) mixed with blue, white and turquoise acrylic paint. As a final touch I painted with some red crayon in the corners. I found the sentiment Happy hours every day in an ad for a local pub (hehe). Nevertheless I thought it was suitable for this card. The frame comes from an ad magazine.

What happens after dark

Here's a card of mine for the Anything goes with a twist challenge at Fitztown. I have used one of the Halloween images, which you can find in the category Fae.

I'm actually quite happy about how this card turned out.
I managed to cut out the branches by hand, with a pair of nail scissors (you know, the kind of scissors with a small bend).

The twist is to use something old and something new. What's old in this card is the forest background, which I cut out from an "old" children's magazine (Kamratposten 2007). The pumpkins are new, and come from a paper sheet named Scary Moment/Pumpkin by Landstoken AB.

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and some Traditional Craft Paint: Sun Gold for her hair and clothing. I've also added some Glitter Glaze (Panduro) as a final touch to her clothing. I have used UNIQ Pearl - Brilliant green for the gloves and the dragon fly. Finally I've added some Stickles to the leaves.

The bat comes from the same source as the forest background. The pine cone comes from a wrapping paper, which I cut out last year and saved for future autumn cards. I think that's all...

Thanks for stopping by!
