Stamped with love

I'm a stepsister at the Sisterhood of crafters. I must say I'm very excited about that. :) We are sponsored by Shelly's images this time around. I wanted to make a love-themed card for a friend of mine since she is getting married to her fiance. I found Love by Shelly's images to be perfect for the card I had in mind. You know what else was perfect for this card? Stickles! Yes, lots and lots of Stickles...

...because I wanted to make a very colourful love card!

I have used the following Ranger Stickles: Cinnamon, Diamond, Eucalyptus, Fruit Punch, Green, Lagoon, Magenta, Mystic Green, Orange Peel, Starry Night, Thistle, Tropical Tangerine, Turquoise, Waterfall, Yellow

I found the borders and colourful people at Papercraft Inspirations (issue 59: paper 3, issue 77: paper 6). I have used the CookieMonster font for the black and red text.

I have submitted this card to the following challenges:
A Creative Romance: CAS
Aud Sentiments: Any Sentiment
CAS: Colours of rainbow
Charisma Cardz: Fancy Flourishes
Digitally Sweet: Anything goes
Glitter n Sparkle: Add a bow (see L in Love)
PanPastel: Glitz and glam
Robyn's fetish challenge: Must use yellow, blue and red

Ps. Do you want some ideas for LGBTQ love cards? Then why don't you check out some of my other LGBT cards: here and here. :)

With love and rainbows,
Wiola

  1. Awesome idea to use Stickles to color in the word. Love it. Love the fun colors and not to mention the sparkles. Great card! And I'm behind, but welcome to the Sisterhood :-)

    1. Thank you, Darlene! :) I must stop myself from colouring everything with Stickles though. I tend to go overboard with the Stickles. Hehe. I'm really glad to join you. Hugs from Småland

  4. Hi Wiola, What an AMAZING card! Equal marriage is something I'm very passionate about, and it makes me so happy to see someone else with a Gay Marriage-support image on their sidebar! We're making so much progress. Anyhoo, this is an amazing card!!! Did you cut out the little people and then cover them with stickles? Best, CG

    1. Hi CG, I'm glad to hear that. Equal marriage has been legal here since 2009, so I guess we are doing progress. I would like things to move faster, but at least they are moving forward. I think Germany should have taken after by now. LGBTQ-issues is also something I'm very passionate about. I used to be bullied in school. One of the first people who ever accepted me as I was, was a LGBTQ-person. And well, I'm forever thankful to her. I think that the least thing I could do is to help her get accepted in society too.

On a side-note, I printed the little people on a special white paper, which almost sparkles. My step-dad used to work in a paper mill, and he used to bring that sparkly white paper home among a bunch of others. So, I haven't added any Stickles to the people. Just to the "Love", the hearts in the font, and the clouds in the lower border.

      Best wishes, Wiola
