Porcelain dresses

I went to Sofiero castle park this weekend. The park itself is "a total art work". When walking among the green lawns, trees and colorful borders, I found something more beautiful than all the 10,000 rhododendron bushes in full bloom together.

These cocktail dresses in natural size, made out of pottery/porcelain greeted my tired eyes. An enchanting sight. I was amazed, and I still look at these photos with amazement.

I love how innovative and creative these dresses are. Also I love the 50s inspired look.
For your info, the artist is Agnes Spångberg.

Red-haired lady
Moonlight shadow
More silly postcards. Why? Because it's fun to play with colours. It's okay to not be so serious all the time. (Also it's a good idea to use all the nail polish I have...)

Childishly fun

When I read Akademikern (Academician4/2011 I was delighted with all the funny pictures in it. I felt inspired to cut and paste. So I made some ugly postcards which I might send to blissfully unaware friends.

Then of course I couldn't stop cutting so I went to next magazine. Look below for postcards with a flower-theme.

You are what you love

Look at my new black skirt! :) It has two pockets and heart buttons. It's made out of second hand-material.

For now I have left my sewing machine in my family home, so I can focus on my social work thesis for the rest of the semester. This means I won't be posting for a while.

Making up for my lack of time (and creativity)

Another hairdo for my sewing blog! Once again made by my dear little sister.

Hey Sister

My sewing blog has been very dull lately by several reasons. To make up for my lack of creativity and time, I will post some photos of my youngest sister's many talents. She knows how to make amazing hairdos!
