A card with an image by LOTV.
She is a darling. Maisie sitting pretty.
The adorable rainbowy* "Happy Birthday" sentiment can be found here.
I found the balloons, pen, sun and dotty border in various magazines.
The floral background is actually an old card, which I have "upcycled". The floral painting was made by a mouth painter named Francis Camille. You can find cards by the Mouth and Foot Painting Artist Association here.
I have submitted this card to the following challenge:
Creative Corners: Child's play
Creative Fingers: Anything goes
Dis Digi Design: Birthday
JellyPark Challenges: All about the kids
PollyCraft Challenge: For the kids
Robyn's fetish challenge: Must use yellow, blue and red
Stamp and Create: Birthdays
Stampin' for the Weekend: Colours of Summer
SweetPea Stampers: Fantasy
Top Tip Tuesday: Tip: if you zoom in on my card, you will notice that I have cut out the small black lines to the balloons and that I have cut out the tiny grass. My "secret" is to use a pair of nail scissors. The bend which nail scissors often have helps you cut closer without cutting too much. Nail scissors are very helpful for paper-crafting and paper-piecing.
Whimsical Designs: Something old, something new
(I have upcycled an old floral postcard and made it into a new card, with my new image Maisie)
*It's possible rainbowy isn't actually a word, but I think it should be. On the other hand I wouldn't want "Regnbågig" to be a word in my own language, so maybe I should stop messing with yours. Lol.
What a lovely LOTV image card you have made. Thanks for taking part in the Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge this month of “fantasy” and best of luck. We hope to see you back again very soon. Best wishes, Kym, Sweet Pea Stampers Design Team xxx
